Regional Development Protection Program - Durable Solutions, focus on Child Labor & Civil documentation (2021-Ongoing, KRI, in partnership with Oxfam and Under building pathways for durable solutions for IDPs and refugees)

Project objective and description:

The project aims to provide the formulation of a new policy for child labor in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and its entry into the parliamentary debate and the adoption of a child protection policy for those who have an increasing influence in decision-making and are more able to advance the rights of the child. As well as holding 4 discussions or round tables to generate in-depth inputs towards contacting the mechanism for issuing civil documents for internally displaced persons and holding training courses for capacity building on durable solutions, in addition to the participation of many Kurdish MPs actively in supporting a new policy to reduce child labor in Kurdistan with the organization of a campaign on social media Social includes developing an attractive key message to promote the right of displaced communities.
