Job Opening: IT Officer (Part-Time)
Introduction:
KOHRW implements a comprehensive protection program for refugees in partnership with UNHCR through the Community Service Center (CSC) in Kirkuk. The CSC serves as a dedicated space to provide critical protection services, including legal aid, case management, psychosocial support, and awareness sessions to refugees. This program aims to address the needs of refugees ensuring a safe and supportive environment while promoting social cohesion and protection for the most vulnerable populations.
The CSC’s goals include:
- Providing structured case management for survivors of violence and children at risk.
- Ensuring access to legal aid and rights-based protection services.
- Promoting awareness on available services and rights through community engagement.
- Offering technical support to strengthen local capacities and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the installation and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Ensure data security and backup systems are operational.
- Manage the CSC's internet connectivity and ensure smooth functioning.
- Train staff on IT systems and tools as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and recommend upgrades when required.
